A Room at Lark Hill Place

Lark Hill Place is a reconstruction of a typical nineteenth century street. It was created in 1957 using artefacts saved from the Salford slum clearances. It is a feature of Salford Art Gallery and Museum and takes its name from Lark Hill Mansion which previously occupied the museum's site.
