The board faces Bridge Street at the entrance to Newbridge Methodist Church, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5253329 the venue for the local U3A's interest group activities. U3A = University of the Third Age, an international movement whose aims are the education and stimulation of mainly retired members of the community, people in their third age of life. In January 2017, the board lists weekly, monthly and six-weekly activities.
