This Co-operative food store closed in early 2016. The site was sold to discount retailer B&M, who opened their 3rd Carlisle branch here in April the same year. The store was built in the 1990s. Originally Kwik Save, it was rebranded as Somerfield in 2006, bought by the Co-operative Group and refurbished by them in 2010.
