The central panels of the East Window depict the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Lord. The surrounding panels show: The Garden of Gethsemane where the disciples are falling asleep Jesus carries his cross; The women of Jerusalem weeping for Jesus; Jesus' garments of clothing being taken by the soldiers; The descent of the Holy Spirit on The Blessed Virgin Mary and the disciples. Below the window is a striking World War One memorial taking the form of a marble and albaster reredos screen bearing the names of eighty servicemen from the locality who lost their lives. It was erected in 1921.
