Aberystwyth Crown Post Office closed

The Post Office in Great Darkgate Street, dating from 1901 or 1906 (sources differ), has now been closed and replaced by an 'in-store' facility at the W.H. Smith shop in Terrace Road. There is a war memorial in the old building - I have yet to establish what will happen to it. Ian Capper's shot of the old building has been used a couple of times by the BBC to illustrate the story http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-mid-wales-37037854.
