The buildings, beyond the gate of this Image, have now been reduced to piles of rubble. Planning permission has been granted by Dover District Council under application number DOV/15/00260 as an “outline application with all matters reserved for the erection of up to 64 dwellings, associated access, parking, road/footway/cycleway provision, open space, landscaping, surface water attenuation, and ancillary works (existing buildings and structures to be demolished)”. The location was described as site at Connaught Barracks, Dover Road, Guston.
