Stratton Wood is a large woodland, situated at the north eastern edge of Swindon. It was created on former arable farmland as part of the Great Western Community Forest Project. It is managed by the Woodland Trust, a registered charity. There are several entrances to the wood, including this one, which is at the far end of the car park and benefits from a hard surfaced footpath. Image
