The Old Swan at 6 Abbot Street is an early example of a town public house which incorporates significant remains of a late medieval building, and which retains the interior planning of a late 19th century public house. The year 1811 is on the left. Grade II listed in 1980. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5198131 to the name sign.
