Historic pub on Church Street; C16 origins, originally a shop, now public house. Internally, three rooms front, back and side, with back bar. Open fires, garden. Three cask ales on offer at my visit. The building is listed by English Heritage (Grade II*): http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=386096&mode=adv and the pub is listed in the 2016 Good Beer Guide.
