The Church of St Mary of Eton with St Augustine at Hackney was founded by the Eton College mission in 1880; the present church being built 1890-2. It is Grade II* listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1226605 http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=1226605&resourceID=5 Heritage Gateway).
