A different view of the gateway here, also showing the farm, is at Image The public footpath sign indicates the start of footpath 514 5/1. Not sure why the sign isn't beside the waymarked stile, except that the latter is blocked by a piece of granite with the farm name on it. Had I been following the path (which I wasn't), I'd just have opted for the cattle grid. The farm up ahead is South Dinnicombe.
