Grade II Listed Building https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1161276 Callas is understood to be a variant spelling of Calais (France), a name that became to be used in England for a hospital or almshouse, financed by merchants out of dealings with the wool market in Calais.
