In the literal rather than the "same as everywhere else" sense. Evesham High Street continues up to the railway bridge, although most of the shops are a few blocks to the south of here. These two are a hairdressers and a fishing supplies shop. The road off to the right is St Egwin's Road, named after Egwin of Evesham, an eighth century Bishop of Worcester.
