An interesting retaining wall. The gardens were created in the second half of the 19th century by Henry Trevor in an old chalk and flint quarry. Very much a Victorian garden, it was neglected for 60 years before being restored by The Plantation Garden Preservation Trust. Listed within the register of historic parks and gardens.
