This fine, but somewhat neglected, red brick building is located on A635 Ashton Old Road between Wood Street and Odell Street. The terracotta datestone indicates that it was built in 1890. I'm not exactly sure what purpose it served as there are no signs or anything around it. It has a decent corbelled brick chimney to the rear. The building looks as though it could do with a good shave.
