A colourful mural fills the side wall of 18 Lansdowne Road, with the almost oxymoronic slogan 'Bournemouth: A history of shaping the future' I am not certain of all of the historical points referred to, although prominent at the foot of the picture is a footballer in AFC Bournemouth strip. The Lansdowne Post Office formerly occupied the right-hand part of the building, no.20, until 1994 - see Image for a view of the building in 2008. In the background is Image
