Private Forestry in Ballynease

There are quite a few Forest Service plantations in and around Portglenone but this is a private one where the farmer concerned decided there was more profit to be made in a crop of trees than cattle or potatoes. At least unlike the pines so beloved of the state foresters, this individual has planted what, at a distance, looks like birch.
