The work to be carried out is described in two Maidstone Borough Council’s planning applications. 16/503998/FULL the “restoration of dilapidated two storey farm house and outbuilding, plus small single storey side extension, restoration of former oast/barn to residential use, provision of new three bay cart lodge and on-going tree management” and 16/504001/LBC “listed Building Consent for restoration of dilapidated two storey farm house and outbuilding, plus small single storey side extension, restoration of former oast/barn to residential use, provision of new three bay cart lodge and on-going tree management”. In this view, a mobile home has been erected to the right of the house and there is a mail box at the entrance to the property, which may indicate that work has started on the restoration. Oast House Archive’s Image shows the house before any restoration work had begun.
