Lord Commander of the Nights Watch, Jeor Mormont (played by James Cosmo) showing some natty futuristic kit in a bank advert. Game of Thrones was a big cultural phenomenon at the time. The billboard is on Arthurlie Football Club's Dunturlie Park, Barrhead. The Bank of Scotland adverts were all over Barrhead. The adverts were filmed and photographed in Scotland, unlike the television series which inspired them. There the arctic wastes were filmed in Iceland.
