Opened in 1877 by the Girvan & Portpatrick Junction Railway, later to become part of the Glasgow & South Western Railway, this eventually replaced the nearby terminus station built by the Maybole & Girvan Railway. View north west towards Killochan and Glasgow. The station burned down and was rebuilt in the late 1940s.
