Aberystwyth rooftops seen from the former quarry on Penglais. In the bottom left hand corner is Portland Road, at its junction with Terrace Road. The large building beyond is the Welsh Bethel Chapel in Baker Street and beyond it to its right is the Seion Welsh Independent Chapel in Alfred Place. In the left background is the Church of St Michael and All Angels, with part of the castle behind it and in the right background is Old College, with the top of the War Memorial just visible behind.
