The Aghaderg Road is fairly typical drumlin country minor road running SW towards Loughbrickland. The present zeal for excessive cutting of hedges is gradually destroying the atmosphere of such roads. Once a hedge is trimmed to such an extent, it is unlikely to produce occasional trees such as those shown here. I doubt whether it does much to encourage nesting birds either! The view is towards Loughbrickland.
