A view along a short section of the A607 - the Belton-Grantham road - as it approaches the town centre. A wall plaque on the terraced house on the left (No. 30) marks the humble birthplace of Arthur Harry Blissett (1875-1955) . He was a former Royal Marine and fellow Antarctic explorer with Capt Robert Falcon Scott, the famous polar explorer. Ahead, the biscuit-coloured building occupying the corner site is part of locally well-known "The King's School".
