A fireless locomotive built for use in the large factory complex, HM Factory Gretna, that manufactured cordite explosives 1916-1918. Its boiler was charged each day with boiling water and steam under pressure so that it could work without danger from a firebox or chimney exhaust. See also James Towill's photographs Image and Image
