An estate house, built in 1877 together with the cottages attached http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5057968 by J F Bentley for Lord Beaumont. The design represents a move towards the main Arts and Crafts Movement. Listed Grade II. There is a bench mark http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5057962 on the gable end facing the main road.
