The refurbishment of the hall was completed last year with the aid of several grants totalling £52000 and £7000 raised by the hall committee. The building has been reclad with self-coloured box-profiled sheeting so that repainting will not be required in future. The windows have been upgraded, new ventilation installed and insulation added to the structure. Disabled access and a new disabled toilet have also been provided.
