Actually the line here runs in a south-westerly direction. A view of the current day Cambrian line from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth, seen from the Stanley Road overbridge at Meole Brace. The garages on the left are built on the route of the Shropshire & Montgomeryshire Railway. See also Image
