The east window depicts a Crucifixion scene with St James, The Blessed Virgin Mary, St John and St Mary Magdalene, and is (allegedly) by Ward and Hughes 1887. The traceries appear to be by a different artist, and are the same as other window traceries in the church and the clerestory windows. Some of the images are based closely on medieval windows at All Saints' church, York. (The top depiction of The Resurrection in this window for example).
