The church is now in private ownership and the graveyard has reverted back to its natural state in a pleasant way. The church bears the date of 1824 but has long been disused. The headstone on the right is that of 6952 Private Archie Oscar PLUMMER of the 2nd/6th Essex Regiment and was 20 years old when he died of wounds received in battle in May 1917.
