Looking alongside the back garden of the last house in East Avenue, along footpath A14, which hugs the Bournemouth borough boundary - the boundary being parallel with the garden fence but on our right. Just ahead of us, the railway line crosses in a cutting running left-right across the picture, giving the footpath no choice but to turn right and follow the railway onto Talbot Heath. As it does so, it crosses the border and comes under the responsibility of Poole Borough Council, who have a different numbering system. It thus becomes footpath 111.
