Looking along this public footpath which extends from the dead-end of St. Stephen's Road down to Bourne Avenue. Before the town-centre by-pass was put through in 1973, St. Stephen's Road itself swung round to meet Bourne Avenue hereabouts. Following this flat path, steps complete the journey: see Image for the view towards us from ahead, with links to further photos on the path.
