St Helen and St Giles Church in Rainham is a complete late Norman church with aisles and a west tower. There are Norman windows and a Norman doorway in the chancel. The churchyard is very much like an Essex country churchyard surrounded by urban Rainham but with the attractive addition of Rainham Hall immediately next to it.
