According to Wikipedia, the building on the High Street, seen here proudly flying the Union flag, was erected in 1862 on the site of the former vicarage of Holy Trinity Church and became the town hall of Skipton Urban District Council in 1895, replacing the former town hall on Sheep Street. It now hosts the council chamber for Craven District Council, and the Craven Museum, as well as a public hall used for events. Unbelievably, the town hall is not listed although the two K6 type phone boxes outside it are.
