Wharf Point in the centre of Droylsden was formerly the Co-operative Hall built in 1876 Image It now houses the Mega Discount Store, the Post Office Image, a fitness centre, the Nicholson Academy of Theatre Dance http://www.nicholsonacademyoftheatredance.co.uk/ the Kennedy Studios School of Performing Arts http://web.archive.org/web/20160524195734/http://www.kennedystudio.co.uk/ and other businesses.
