The top of Lloyd Street is closed off for the 30th annual Victorian Extravaganza Weekend. Dominating the skyline is the Mach 1, one of the biggest thrill rides that tours the UK. It has two four-seater looping gondolas suspended either side of a giant rotating propeller. During the ride passengers enjoy breathtaking views of the local surroundings while experiencing G-forces of 3.5. http://web.archive.org/web/20160406013624/http://www.nkattractions.com/Mach1.html
