Located in a late Victorian building on the south side of Hawthorn Road West. The year 1898 is inscribed on the roundel on the right. The school's website states that Cardiff Steiner School is a non-selective, independent school for boys and girls aged 3-16. The small, caring and supportive school offers an inspiring and nurturing education based on the needs of the whole child - academic, physical, emotional and spiritual. With the Steiner Waldorf curriculum, the school draws on a 90-year-old teaching tradition, integrating arts and academics into a rich, balanced education that ignites a passion for learning. The focus is not simply on the college your child will attend, but rather the person your child will become - a curious, compassionate, critical thinker ready to meet the challenges of our changing world.
