The Neighbours

Image: © Richard Croft Taken: 25 Apr 2016

'Neighbours' sculptures in a group of four sculptures designed and built by local studio Shipshape Arts for the Southbank Centre 2013 Festival of Neighbourhood, before relocating to the Athlete's Village at the Olympic Park at Stratford during residential redevelopment and subsequent return home to Screveton. The other neighbour chatting over the fence has blown over. The inspiration for 'The Neighbours' was to redefine the fence, not as a barrier, but as a meeting place between neighbours.
