Today was a local holiday, but Firrhill along with 16 other Edinburgh schools was closed long term due to structural faults found after cladding fell from Oxgangs Primary. Wall ties was one of the issues and it appears that is where work has been done in this photograph. Holiday or not, there was plenty of work going on here today.
