What strikes one is the absence of a huge exhibition centre - I am standing just off the bottom of this picture Image The demolition of Earl's Court is the start of another very ambitious development involving the creation of a 77-acre "super village", 7,500 new homes, offices and shops, and undoubtedly more hyperbolic developer-ese that one can shake a stick at. The London Overground line runs through the middle of the site.
