Kilmore & Oban Parish Church (Church of Scotland) - April 2016

Image: © The Carlisle Kid Taken: 20 Apr 2016

A Romanesque style church, designed by Alexander Shairp and completed in 1893. Seems also to be known as Combie Street Oban Old Parish Church and Kilmore & Kilbride Parish Church. As the front of the Church unusually faces almost due north, photography may prove difficult. See also: Image] . A Category C listed building. The Church web site includes an interesting potted history of the Church of Scotland in the Oban area and can be found: http://www.obanchurch.com/churchhistory.html Photograph is for record only - I have no connection with this Church and any queries regarding opening times and hours of worship should be directed through the Church web site, which may be found: http://www.obanchurch.com/index.html
