The old pump here was restored in 1993 by the local Women's Institute as a feature for the village - Bwlch-Mawr being the cluster of houses at the western end of Dinas Cross. It is a shame in that the watercourse behind, the very poisonous invasive plant, Hemlock Water Dropwort, has been allowed to take hold.
