This bronze sculpture, entitled "Woman and Fish” (1951), replaces the original one by Frank Dobson, M.P. that was positioned at the Cephas Street/Cambridge Heath Road junction by the London County Council in 1963 in memory of this well-known Labour M.P. It provided enjoyment (and drinking water) until a series of destructive acts by vandals, 1977-2002, finally lead to its disposal in a rubbish skip. In 2006-7 the Spanish sculptor Antonio Lopez Reche (born 1963) created a replacement and it is this replacement that now sits in close to the southern boundary of Millwall Park, Tower Hamlets, just beside Island Gardens Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station. This is the view towards Mudchute Park, Millwall and Canary Wharf.
