Located on the south west corner of Western Road and Norfolk Square it was originally the Egremont Hotel from 1825 until 1919 when it was rebuilt as a bank, the National Provincial which became the National Westminster in 1970. The bank moved out in the mid 1990s after which the building was converted back into a bar.
