Allegorical statue of famous Highland brigand, Rob Roy, above the Culter Burn. Rob Roy himself probably never visited Aberdeenshire and the statue more likely should commemorate Gilderoy. Gilderoy was a local freebooter who sometimes based himself in the Burn o' Vat before he was caught and hanged in Edinburgh. This statue is the latest in a series at this spot.
