Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road (was A370), in parish of LONG ASHTON (NORTH SOMERSET District), Weston Road, West end of Long Ashton, near junction with Wild Country Lane, in tarmac pavement in front of stone wall, on East side of road. Bristol iron plate, erected by the Bristol Turnpike Trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:4 MILES TO BRISTOL Grade II listed.
