The pond has filled since being hollowed out on the 3rd March. It is fed by a gulley to the left from the stream. Between 22 February and 8th March 2016 improvement works were undertaken on the Guphill Brook. This involved some bank re-profiling and the creation of two small ponds, one to the south and one to the north of the brook.
