Bridge No 18W across the Llangollen Canal carries the lane between Weston Rhyn and the A5 at Gledric Roundabout. The Llangollen Canal links Hurleston Junction (Shropshire Union Canal) to Llantysilio via Wrenbury, Whitchurch, Ellesmere, Chirk, Trevor, and Llangollen, a distance of 46 miles (74 kilometres). There are 21 locks. The Shropshire Way long distance path joins the towpath here and continues south-east (behind the camera) as far as Lower Frankton. https://www.ldwa.org.uk/ldp/members/show_path.php?path_name=Shropshire+Way
