The sidings were then for the traffic from the sand quarries through an arch under the main BR Quarry Line. This traffic had ceased, or at least nearly so, by 1990. British Industrial Sand had two locomotives, this is one of them, the other was nearby with bushes growing around it. They were both 'Planet' locomotives by F.C. Hibberd, works numbers 3832 and 4006 of 1957 and 1963. This is the newer one.
