Improvements on Whitley Bay seafront

Improvement works are in progress on the seafront at Whitley Bay. The works appear to involve repaving the promenade and replacing the seafront railings. The works are connected with a masterplan to rejuvenate the area including bringing back into use the nearby Spanish City building.
