May Farm is now a large anaerobic digestion plant run by Shropshire Energy (G.S. Shropshire Farm Services Limited is a very large arable and vegetable farm in this area). It presumably runs on a mix of vegetable tops, rejected vegetables and maize grown solely for digestion, these are turned into biogas (a mix of methane and CO2) which is then burnt. It has a maximum capacity of 2.2MW.
